Thomas Ulrich appointed new Managing Director

ISOLITE Noise Control GmbH, founded in 2014, has a new Managing Director. Thomas Ulrich is taking over responsibility for the newest division of ISOLITE, and will also act as head of the entire Power Generation section. Ulrich has been a key player in developing ISOLITE Noise Control GmbH since it was founded, and his expertise made him the natural choice for this position.

The Power Generation section includes both thermal (ISOLITE HeatCAP) and acoustic (ISOLITE NoiseCAP) encapsulating systems, as well as internal insulation systems (ISOLITE Superinsulation) for stationary gas turbines. The investments in this field are already bearing fruit, as can be seen in the acoustic encapsulating system for stationary gas turbines that began delivery as a complete package at the end of 2014. Building on this, orders for a further 7 gas turbines and 11 steam turbines are currently being processed. ISOLITE is also planning 8 new generation HeatCAP insulation systems worldwide for use in the heavy-duty engine sector. Alongside their perfect thermal design, these insulation systems boast an innovative construction.

The work on adding another 1,500 m² to ISOLITE plant 2, which began last year, is close to completion, so the new capacity this provides will soon be available for use. This will enable the highly innovative systems to be produced in greater volumes.
