On 1 June 2018, the 56th Hitachi Chemical R & D Forum took place in Tokyo. As part of the annual intra-group event, the R & D departments of the various divisions present their latest technologies and products.

Due to the shareholder change in April 2017, a subsidiary – ISOLITE – took part in this internal event of Hitachi Chemical this year for the first time. Numerous exhibits were displayed at the well-visited stand, clearly reflecting ISOLITE’s core areas of expertise. In addition, Michael Knoll, Vice President of Engineering, spoke as part of a series of presentations in front of approximately 600 forum visitors on the topic “Comprehensive Automotive Thermal Management – From Combustion Engine to EVs”.

“We feel very honoured and are proud to be part of this year’s R & D Forum in Tokyo. The new shareholder structure at ISOLITE allows us to make even better use of joint market opportunities and synergies with Hitachi Chemical. True to the motto: Managing Energy, by Working on Wonders,” says Michael Knoll.
