Beyond the classic form of vocational training, since summer 2019 ISOLITE has also offered high school graduates a dual degree with the major of mechanical engineering, with the specialism of development and construction. The concept of the dual degree in connection with the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW for short) in Mannheim combines a scientific university degree with business practice. In a three-month rhythm, between theory phases at the DHBW and the practical phases at the international ISOLITE locations, the new recruits acquire solid theoretical knowledge and practical professional experience.
During the practical phases, the ISOLITE students learn holistically how new products are developed successfully. The ISOLITE training plan is always coordinated with the semester timetable of the students. Therefore, in the practical phases, the students pass through the departments of work preparation, construction, quality management and production planning. Through continual feedback meetings with the managers of the relevant departments, the students also have the opportunity to undergo personal and methodical further development. Due to a continuous monthly remuneration, the students are also flexible, and can concentrate fully on their degree.
After successful completion of the total of six semesters, the degree ends with the academic title Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.). The course of studies in mechanical engineering is system accredited with a total of 210 ECTS points, and therefore recognized as an intensive course of studies.
There are still places available for the course start in 2019. The search has also already begun for next year. What are you waiting for: apply now and become part of our team!
